Water color on paper

I bought this dress to wear to a party and loved the old fashioned look and feel of it. I talked my friend in to putting it on so i could take pictures of her in it to paint from. It fit her better than it did me! It is a simple white dress but I saw a variety of colors reflected in it that I wanted to paint. I didn’t show her feet because she was wearing old cowboy boots!
